How does Respeak work?

Send a voice message to the Respeak Telegram bot in any language. Within seconds, Respeak transcribes your audio, translates it into your target language, and replies with a translated voice message that sounds natural — so the person you're talking to hears your message in their own language.
What languages does Respeak support?

Respeak supports 20+ languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew, Hindi, Turkish, Polish, Dutch, Ukrainian, Persian, Indonesian, and Vietnamese. Respeak auto-detects the language you speak — you don't need to tell it.
Is Respeak free?

Yes. The Free plan gives you 10 voice translations per month with no credit card required. If you need more, the Basic plan is 100 messages/month and Pro is unlimited. Payments are made through Telegram Stars.
How fast is the translation?

Most voice messages are translated and delivered back in under 3 seconds — fast enough to feel like real conversation.
How accurate are the translations?

Respeak uses state-of-the-art AI models from OpenAI for transcription, translation, and speech synthesis. Accuracy is excellent for everyday conversation in supported languages, though it isn't a substitute for certified human translation in legal, medical, or other critical situations.
Will my voice messages be stored?

No. Voice audio is processed in real time and is not stored after the translation is delivered. We don't use your messages to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Does Respeak work on iPhone and Android?

Yes — Respeak runs inside Telegram, so it works anywhere Telegram does: iPhone, Android, iPad, Mac, Windows, Linux, and the web. There's no separate app to install.
Can I use Respeak in groups?

Group translation is coming soon. You'll be able to add Respeak to a Telegram group and have voice messages translated automatically between languages — perfect for bilingual friends, families, and teams.
How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are paid via Telegram Stars and don't auto-renew — they simply expire at the end of the billing period. To stop using Respeak, just don't renew.
